Scope and Research Question
We focus on publishing the Pieces of Clay newsletter every quarter. Genealogy and genetic events, news and articles that encourage and entice new members and promote Clay research by membership are in scope. Other topics are out of scope.
Type of Workgroup: Newsletter
The coordinator facilitates organization, reporting and managing the workgroups timeline as Workgroup Editor.
Collaboration Norms (Participants agree to):
- Cite sources clearly and consistently
- Distinguish evidence from interpretation
- Preserve minority or competing hypotheses when evidence is inconclusive
- Treat all contributions as provisional unless supported by evidence
Submissions are reviewed for clarity and scope only. Approval is administrative and intended to ensure coordination—not to judge the merits of hypotheses.
Outputs and Reporting
Collate submissions, review drafts, suggest changes, publish on time.
Duration and Review
- Ongoing with quarterly publications as long as there is a CFS.
