DNA Project Advancements:** Significant progress has been made in understanding DNA, particularly through the organization of current project results and the completion of several tests by volunteers living in England.

ransatlantic Connections: Researchers are narrowing down patterns of relationships and specific English regions that share similar DNA results with Clay descendants in the United States, bringing them closer to identifying a common British ancestor.

yDNA Project Categorization: The Clay Project at Family Tree DNA is working to further categorize participants to match kits closely. For the primary “Virginia” group, efforts are underway to place kits with a grandson of Charles and Hannah (Wilson) Clay.
